I was born in Agrigento, Italy, in 1978. After graduating in Natural Sciences and after my studies about evolutionary anthropology, I changed my focus to Photography and I become a self-taught photographer.

At the beginning, I focused my lens on wildlife photography as hobby, then, almost by chance, I started working as professional photographer and photojournalist.

From 2007 to 2010 I worked in Sicily for Ansa and during that period I produced several photographic works about migration phenomenon from Africa across the Canal of Sicily.

In 2011, I moved to Milan where I began full-time work as a photojournalist focusing my attention in news, entertainment, business, politics, society and fashion.

Currently, I am working as a freelance photojournalist for Ansa and AGF.
